Analgesic Research
Dr Stuart Ratcliffe, a leader in the scientific design and conduct of analgesic trials, heads the Pain Research division at MAC Clinical Research. By using MAC Clinical Research's proven recruitment methodologies, together with innovative psychological and psychophysical approaches in patient selection we are able to improve the efficiency and reduce cycle times in early drug development. As well as traditional Phase IIb and Phase III trials MAC Clinical Research has an impressive and expanding track record in the performance of key 'go, no-go' Phase IIa trials.

Existing databases of potential trial subjects include patients with pain due to, amongst others:
  • osteoarthritis
  • fibromyalgia
  • diabetic neuropathy
  • post-herpetic neuralgia
  • post-surgical and post-trauma neuropathy
  • and multiple sclerosis
